WHy Choose Life
We believe in choosing life. We believe that every human being has a purpose and a reason for existence. We believe that each person has unique gifts to bring to this amazing planet we call "home." We believe that every human being deserves a chance no matter how small.
Pro-Life Definition: “Pro-life” means that you support the idea of life and in many cases this means you oppose abortion. In the case of our organization, we solely focus on giving women the resources to choose life over abortion, but we also want to go a step further. We want to help those women who choose life, to leave our hands in better shape than when the came to seek help. Pro-life to us means so much more. We want to offer more than just an anti-abortion program. We want to fight hunger, hate, racism, genocide, help educate, provide resources, and more. We want to truly live out what it means to be called a Christian. We want to show the world who this God we believe in is.
Pro-Choice Definition: People who are pro-choice believe that women have the basic human right to decide when and whether to have children, based on their own moral and religious beliefs, even though they themselves may not choose abortion as an option for an unplanned pregnancy. - Planned Parenthood

When you choose life
When you choose life, you are giving a family who has been child bairn a chance to have a family. You are giving someone a chance to make their dreams a reality. You are giving a child a chance to be the next astronaut, doctor, lawyer, business owner, father/mother, college graduate, counselor, musician, actor/actress, teacher, police officer, and friend. You are giving someone else the opportunity to thrive and exist.
For women who have been abused or raped, my heart hurts a 100 million times for what you have had to endure. But I believe that you as the strong woman you are, can overcome. I believe that you can take something that was so horrible and turn it into an inspiring story for other women who have gone through similar experiences. That you will be able to proclaim that your abuser has no power over your choices and that you are stronger because of what you went through. When you choose life, you choose to take a stand against violence and rape. You choose to give a person a chance and not erase a memory from your book of life. You took the dirt and planted seeds that grows into beautiful flowers.

My grandmother Chose Life
True Story by Heather Mellott
My mother was conceived by two teenagers in 1965 in the back seat of a car at a drive-in movie theater. My grandmother was 17 years old. Her whole life came crashing down when she found out. She missed so many experiences in life because of her unplanned pregnancy. She considered abortion and despite the odds of what she was told to do, she decided against it. Without that choice today, I wouldn't exist. I think about how great it is to be alive and I am so thankful that even though my grandma's whole world came crashing down on her, she chose life. Every life has purpose and value.
