UnplAnned Pregnancy

What can I expect during the adoption process?
This is a step-by-step process and we will help you from start to finish:
  1. You will be assigned a caseworker and mentor that will be your partner and friend during the adoption process and after.
  2. The caseworker will ask you what you desire for an adoption and set a plan to achieve those desires.
  3. You will most likely choose the adoptive couple you want to adopt your baby. The app can help find couples or people looking to adopt.
  4. Our organization will sponsor for all of the adoption expenses and get legal counsel to do the necessary legal work.
  5. The attorney or caseworker will talk to you in person and tell you in detail what to expect during the course of the adoption.
  6. They will also let us know what expenses you may have and programs you want to sign-up for during your pregnancy.
  7. We are working to get places for women to stay during their pregnancy that we would sponsor if rent is an issue.
  8. After the baby is born, you will sign the necessary paperwork to complete the adoption process.
  9. You will normally receive financial help a month or two afterwards as well as have your support groups, mentor, and our counsel at your availability.
What kind of financial help can I get?
Depending on the state you live in, we are working to help you with some of your living expenses for several month before the baby is born and several months after. This is a case-by-case situation and will be dependent upon your needs. We will cover medical expenses such as: ultrasounds, birthing classes as well as other necessary educational classes (nutrition, budgeting, life skills, etc), legal fees, and other costs that may come up.
Can I meet the people that want to adopt my baby?
That is totally up to you. We will help you find loving parents that will meet with you, if that is what you want. Open and closed adoptions are available and depend upon the legal agreement.
How much will it cost me to place my child up of adoption?
There is no charge to you. We work to help you leave our organization better than when you came.
